A Coastal Brunch Destination Designed for Nourishment

The Opportunity
Aura Gardens was envisioned as more than a brunch café. The founders wanted to create a place rooted in ingredient integrity and intentional living. No seed oils. Everything made from scratch. A space where the food philosophy and the physical environment felt aligned.

They were stepping into a competitive coastal brunch scene, but their opportunity was not to be louder. It was to be more grounded, more conscious, and more nourishing.

The Shift
Instead of designing a trendy brunch interior, we designed an ecosystem.

We translated their commitment to clean ingredients into spatial form. Light, air, texture, and botanical layering became part of the wellness story. The space would not just serve nourishing food. It would regulate the nervous system, invite connection, and support lingering.

The Story We Told
Aura Gardens became a coastal garden sanctuary.

Not a café chasing turnover, but a gathering place rooted in sunlight, plants, and community ritual. The brand story centered around purity, presence, and seasonal nourishment. Every design decision reinforced that ethos. Nothing felt rushed. Nothing felt artificial.

It was a modern garden experience grounded in wellness and designed for belonging.

How the Space Unfolds
1 Guests enter through a light filled dining room layered with botanical elements and soft textures that immediately soften the pace.

2 The hidden atrium at the back acts as a surprise garden moment. Open air, sun washed, and perfect for long brunch conversations.

3 A custom hallway mural becomes a transitional experience on the way to the restrooms, reinforcing artistry and storytelling within the brand.

4 Textural finishes and natural materials echo the food philosophy. Clean, honest, and intentional.

5 The layout encourages both intimate two tops and larger communal gatherings, supporting workshops, dinners, and neighborhood events beyond traditional brunch hours.

What Guests Experience
Guests experience Aura Gardens as restoration in the middle of their day.

They feel sunlight on their shoulders. They gather over house baked bread and scratch made sauces. They settle into conversations that stretch longer than planned.

The environment feels fresh, grounded, and quietly elevated. It supports nourishment of body, community, and nervous system without announcing itself.

This project embodied what conscious hospitality can be.
